Practical Nurse Diploma
The purpose of the Practical Nursing Diploma is for the students to learn to apply both scriptural and scientific methods to nursing services rendered to individuals, families, and communities. The accomplishment of this dual goal encompasses biblical concepts about the relationships between God and man, man and fellow man, and man and the physical universe. Practical Nursing/ LPN students are required to participate in clinical experience. PN/LPN students are introduced to the clinical area early in the program. Theory and clinical procedures are integrated to reinforce learning.
Nursing Assistant Certificate
The Nursing Assistant program focuses on producing an excellent nursing assistant through spiritual guidence and theorical practice. The student will be ready, through prayer and preparation, to take and pass the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant exam – (C.N.A.), and care for the elderly residents in a long-term care facility or an assisted living center or even in the client’s home.
Home Health Aide Certificate
The program is designed to train home health aides through biblical didactic, use of textbook, reading, videos, instructor demonstration, return demonstration and pre/ post quizzes and a final exam to measure learning. The student is supplied with textbooks and all the supplies necessary to practice basic skills. The course satisfies the federal law requirement that home health aides employed by agencies accepting Medicare and Medicaid complete at least 75 hours of study.
